BIZZA LTD is a small, family-run company based in South Wales, proud to be one of the UK’s leading designers and manufacturers of Ballroom and Latin competition wear and practice-wear.
What began as a humble family business has grown into a nationally and internationally recognised brand, known for its creativity, craftsmanship, and ongoing commitment to innovation in the world of dancewear.
Founded in 2000 by Beth Jones, BIZZA originally launched under the name Design by Bizza—a nod to Beth’s childhood nickname, lovingly given to her by her late father. As the business evolved, the name was streamlined to the iconic BIZZA you know today.
With a background in dance herself, Beth began designing and sewing her own costumes as a teenager. Her passion continued as she made dancewear for her two children, combining her love for both dance and design. After years of building the business from home, Beth officially established BIZZA LTD, and in 2015, moved into the company’s first dedicated premises.
In 2016, Beth’s youngest daughter, Hannah Burchell, joined the company after graduating with a degree in Fashion Design. Hannah brought a fresh, modern perspective to BIZZA, driving innovation and expanding the brand’s appeal to a new generation of dancers. In 2022, she further enhanced her expertise by qualifying as an adjudicator and teacher in both Ballroom and Latin dance under the UKA and IDTA. Her deep understanding of both the art and the technique of dance continues to be a vital asset to BIZZA’s design process.
As the business grew, BIZZA expanded its team and now proudly employs a dedicated group of skilled staff who help bring the company’s vision to life.
In 2020, Hannah launched BIZZA’s online store, along with an extensive new practice-wear range. This milestone not only marked a new chapter for the business, but also opened up global sales opportunities. Since then, BIZZA has seen significant growth in international markets, regularly sending garments to the United States, Middle East, and across Europe—including Ireland, Barcelona, and Italy, which have become key markets for the brand.
In response to growing demand, BIZZA expanded again in 2022, relocating to two large industrial units to support increased production and operations. By 2023, Beth and Hannah began developing a modern showroom and fitting room experience, offering dancers a welcoming and inspiring space to explore custom designs and try on garments in person.
Today, BIZZA LTD continues to grow, supplying dancers and dance schools across the UK and worldwide. With exciting new collections, a passionate team, and job opportunities , the future has never looked brighter.
